Dongsung Finetec has signed a KRW 20 billion contract with Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding in China. Dongsung Finetec has signed a material supply contract for five 22,000TEU container ships ordered by CMA-CGM, a French container ship shipping company, to Hudong Zhonghua Shipbuilding.
This contract is the first contract for an ultra-large eco-friendly liquefied natural gas (LNG) propelled container ship since the International Maritime Organization introduced a new environmental regulation.
Dongsung Finetec proved its competitiveness by introducing ‘LNG BRICK’ from France’s GTT, the latest technology for LNG fuel tank, at home and abroad in March.
